Christmas City of the North Parade 2025

This year, our team proudly joined the Christmas City of the North Parade—one of the Northland’s most cherished holiday traditions. Bundled up against the winter chill, our staff walked the route, handing out goodies and spreading festive cheer alongside local families, businesses, and community groups.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share in the holiday spirit, support a beloved regional event, and help kick off the season with joy and togetherness.

Reading to Kids at a Local School

As part of CU Forward Day, several Centricity team members spent the afternoon reading to students from 3K through 5th grade at a local elementary school. Our staff shared stories, answered questions, and helped spark the kids’ imaginations. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with young learners and support the teachers who work so hard every day.

CU Forward Day gives us the chance to show our commitment in meaningful ways. By spending time with students and encouraging a love of reading, we hope to inspire curiosity and confidence in the next generation.

Second Harvest Food Bank

This year for CU Forward Day we put together 333 boxes which were full of a variety of donated food to disburse. This resulted in filling up 6-7 pallets ready to give out to the community.

Together we packaged 3000 lbs of corn and 2056 lbs of potatoes into bags. All of this food will be given to people in need all throughout our community and beyond.

Lending a Hand at Solid Rock Men’s Shelter

This summer, our Centricity Credit Union team spent the day volunteering at Solid Rock Men’s Shelter in Superior, Wisconsin—a safe haven that provides support and housing for men experiencing homelessness. Our staff took a break from their desks to roll up their sleeves and help with yardwork, gardening, and outdoor maintenance around the shelter. Together, we worked to make the grounds more welcoming and cared for, knowing that a clean, comfortable space can make a big difference for those staying there.

A big thank-you goes out to our incredible team members who dedicated their time and energy to making a positive impact.

Hermantown Summerfest Parade

We were proud to take part in this year’s Hermantown Summerfest Parade. Our team joined alongside other local businesses, families, and organizations that make Hermantown such a special place to live and work.

Parades like Summerfest are one of our favorite ways to connect with our members and share in the joy of community traditions. Seeing so many familiar faces along the route reminded us what Centricity is all about—neighbors supporting neighbors and celebrating the people who make our hometowns shine.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s Summerfest and another chance to show our Centricity spirit in the community!

Denfeld Spirit Valley Days Parade

Our Centricity Credit Union team had a fantastic time joining the Denfeld Spirit Valley Days Parade in West Duluth! This long-standing local tradition celebrates the heart of the Spirit Valley neighborhood, and we were proud to be part of it—walking the route, handing out treats, and waving to so many familiar faces along the way.

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer, celebrate, and share in the fun. We can’t wait to see you again next year as we continue to show our Centricity spirit throughout the Northland!

Proctor Hoghead Festival Parade

Centricity Credit Union was excited to take part in this year’s Proctor Hoghead Festival Parade, a fun-filled hometown tradition that brings together families, friends, and local businesses to celebrate community pride.

The Hoghead Festival is all about connection and celebration, and we’re always grateful for the opportunity to be part of it. Supporting events like this helps us stay rooted in the communities we serve.

We had a blast this year and look forward to continuing the tradition at next year’s parade!

Hermantown Summerfest Backyard BBQ

To celebrate Hermantown Summerfest, Centricity Credit Union hosted our annual Backyard BBQ—a day filled with great food, fun, and community spirit! We fired up the grill and welcomed members, neighbors, and friends to enjoy a summer afternoon together at our Hermantown branch.

From grilled favorites and sweet treats to games, giveaways, and good conversation, the Backyard BBQ was all about connecting with the people who make our community so special. Our staff had a blast visiting with everyone and answering questions.
