Chain of Hearts 2017

Our Chain of Hearts fundraiser began with the mentality of the credit union; people helping people. Now, this annual fundraiser has grown to help to raise over $2,000 to the Children’s Miracle Network. The campaign, a fundraiser for the local nonprofit hospitals of the Children’s Miracle Network, asks members, community residents and area businesses to help raise funds for children during the Valentine season. The campaign began on January 9^th and runs through February 27^th. Those who donate to the Chain of Hearts fundraiser will have their name displayed as part of the credit union’s lobby decorations on a Wall of Fame. Hearts can be any amount wanting to be donated with specific hearts for sale for $25, $50, or $100. The goal for the fundraiser is $2,500, which is an increase as HFCU surpassed their goal for 2016’s fundraiser. On February 14^th, all donations received will be matched by HFCU in an effort to meet goal and earn more for the hospitals and children that are in desperate need of medical care. Also, the Kirby Kid’s Club is having a coloring contest where children will color a heart and members can ‘purchase’ them and the funds will go to the fundraiser.
